Acknowledging the immigrant spirit of America, this project aims to empower American youth to reconnect with their heritage through a gamified learning platform focused on traditional dance forms. This fosters cultural pride, builds thriving communities, and mastery of the art form in collaboration with local cultural organizations and affiliated dance schools.
Taandav is a gamified learning platform that makes learning theory of Kuchipudi engaging and accessible. Designed for SAMPADA students, it combines cultural preservation with modern technology, featuring PoseNet for posture correction, interactive quizzes, and gamification elements. By creating a space for students to learn, practice, and celebrate their progress, Taandav aims to build cultural pride, promote mastery of the art form, and empower a thriving community of dancers.
