Project Link
Collaborating closely with the blind running community, Vision Stride empowers visually impaired runners to run both indoors and outdoors. As an intuitive, wearable user interface operated solely through touch and auditory feedback, runners experience a new degree of freedom without compromising safety.
Vision Stride is an innovative project designed to enhance the running experience for visually impaired individuals and their guides. The project utilizes a combination of wearable technology and interaction design to facilitate better communication and navigation during runs. By integrating advanced sensors and real-time audio feedback, Vision Stride allows visually impaired runners to receive clear and immediate navigational cues, enhancing their independence and safety. At the same time, the system supports guides with tools that make it easier to convey directions and warnings, thus maintaining a crucial social connection and ensuring a more enjoyable and secure running experience for both parties.
Let's get to know each other.
